The Mi Box is an interesting concept.
At the time of writing, Xiaomi had only launched the Mi Notebook line, which is based on the same Snapdragon 810 chip.
The Mi Box also sports a 4.7-inch 1080p screen, but Xiaomi has said the Mi BOX will have a 5.5-inch display and the Mi Pad Pro Pro will sport a 5-inch screen.
The phone will also have an optional fingerprint scanner.
The new Mi BOX is expected to launch sometime this summer.
We’re told that the MiBox will be powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor, which has the capacity to handle up to 64GB of RAM.
The device will also come with a 3,200mAh battery, which should provide ample power for a day of use.
We don’t have an exact date yet, but expect it to be released in August or September.
Xiaomi is also reportedly working on a cheaper version of the MiBOX, though no price has been given.
The Xiaomi Mi Box will also include the Xiaomi Mi NoteBook line of devices, which were announced in August.
It’s unclear when or if the MiNotebook line will be updated, but we’re expecting it to come in August and September.
