Starbucks (SBUX) recently announced a partnership with Walmart, giving the retailer the ability to sell tea and coffee products at a variety of its locations.
It’s an interesting move for Starbucks, given that the brand has been struggling with low sales in the US in the past year and a half.
However, it may have an unintended consequence, as it appears that Walmart has become a major coffee retailer in the states that it operates.
As the US coffee market has been shifting from Starbucks to a mix of competitors like Dunkin Donuts, and the rise of Chipotle, Walmart’s potential for increasing sales in this space may become even more important.
The brand’s new $100 kettle with a ceramic base, is the latest addition to the company’s offerings, and has a range of brewing options.
There’s a $20 kettle with stainless steel brewing cups, $20 ceramic kettle, and a $50 kettle.
Starbucks has been testing the kettle’s capabilities in the States since May, with the company saying that the coffee itself is “not a great value” and will cost $20 to brew.
However this isn’t the first time Starbucks has tried to boost its sales in a competitive market.
Starbucks first introduced its $1.50 Starbucks Cup in 2017, and it has since expanded into the $1 cup, $3 cup, and $4 cup.
The $1 and $2 cups are similar in size to Starbucks’ $1 cups, and offer a range in price from $1 to $2.
The larger $4 and $6 cups come in different shapes and sizes, and are priced at $2 to $4.
As of today, Starbucks is offering the $2 and $3 cups at its stores, but it doesn’t have a price on the $4 cups yet.
The coffee cup is available in white, black, and grey, and is $15 to $18.
The kettle is available at Walmart, Starbucks, and other retailers in the country.
Walmart is currently selling the kettle for $40.00, which includes shipping, taxes, and fees.
However the company hasn’t released any price information, so it is unclear whether the price is going to increase in the near future.
