You’ve probably never seen a copper-plated kettle before, but you can make a pretty tasty batch of them from this simple recipe.
Step 1: Heat up your copper kettle.
This can be done by placing a kettle with a pot of water inside it and letting it sit for a few minutes.
Step 2: Put a layer of flour on the bottom of the kettle and set it aside.
Step 3: Add the butter and mix it well.
Step 4: Put the flour and the water together in a bowl and mix.
Step 5: Add some salt and a dash of pepper.
Step 6: Add flour mixture and mix again.
Step 7: Mix in the flour.
Step 8: Pour in the water.
Step 9: Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
Step 10: Drain the bowl and add it back into the pot and let it sit overnight.
Step 11: Next, make a crust of the flour mixture.
Step 12: Add it back to the pot, mix and bake.
Step 13: Add a layer more flour mixture in the middle and bake for 20 minutes until it has thickens.
Step 14: Turn the pan over and pour in the wine.
Step 15: Add salt and pepper.
The crust is done when it’s done browning.
Step 16: Pour the wine into a dish and cover it with some butter.
Step 17: Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the wine is bubbly.
